The blankets are 100% hand-spun alpaca yarn, hand-dyed using natural vegetable dyes and knitted on needles by women in La Paz. They are made up a of a series of knitted squares, edged with a crocheted band.
Alpaca is exceptionally soft, warm, hypoallergenic and even has self-cleaning properties! A truly super yarn!
